Light function, what should be considered if light or electrical consumers are to be switched with the Smart programmable timer premium?
You have the possibility to switch light with the Smart programmable timer premium. If this mode is activated under menu item 9-8-8, no shutter motors can be controlled. Either light/consumer OR shutter motors. A combination of both functions is not possible.
Light control with the Smart programmable timer premium - Which settings are necessary?
You have the possibility to switch and control one or more consumers up to a total load of 1800 watts (resistive load) via the Smart programmable timer premium. The control options include normal switching times as well as twilight-dependent control. For example, a light can be switched on in the evening when it gets dark and switched off in the morning when it gets light. The following settings are necessary for this.
1. Switch on light function under menu item 9-8-8, select ON.
2. Control light mode (OFF) / device mode (ON) By default, the light mode is switched on, i.e. a load is switched on at dusk and the light is also switched on accordingly with the Down key. If you want to switch off a device at dusk with the premium smart timer, change the mode under menu item 9-8-7.
The commands change according to the table.
3. Programming switching times -lighting mode
Under menu item 2, enter the switching times as before.
Note that the UP switching time is used to set the OFF switching time and the DOWN switching time is used to set the ON switching time.
Example: Switching on by dusk, switching off by dawn:

Switching time arrow up. Earliest switch-off time 7:00h, selection Astro
Switching time arrow DOWN. Latest switch-on time 22:00h, selection Astro
4. If the light is not to remain switched on all night, a second switching time block can be used to program a further switch-on and switch-off; to do this, switch on a second switching time block under menu item 9-5.
Under menu item 2, the second switching time block can now be set separately.
The up switching time for switching off the lighting
can be set to 23:00, for example, and the down switching time for switching on the lighting can be set to 5:00, for example.
