Help for setting the sun sensitivity with the Smart sun sensor
The sensitivity for the sun can be adjusted in 10 steps with the Smart sun sensor.
Display and meaning:
The setting is displayed via 5 LEDs.
Very sensitive is the sensor at the first, smallest level. The sensor closes the shutters when the sun is low/weak.
The smallest level 0.5 is indicated by the red flashing LED1.
The Smart sun sensor is very insensitive at the highest level. The sensor closes the shutters only at very much/strong sun.
The highest level is indicated by 5 red LEDs.
Acceptance of the currently measured brightness value (recommendation)
If the Smart sun sensor is stuck to the window pane and the sun shines on the sensor with the intensity at which the shutter should be closed, you open the sun menu (yellow LED) by briefly tapping the menu button.
Then you press the menu key and the plus key at the same time.
The red LED shows the adopted level. In most cases the levels 0.5 to 2 are sufficient.
Manual adjustment of the sun sensitivity
Of course, you can also set the sensitivity manually. To do so, tap the menu key until the LED lights up yellow. The currently set limit value is displayed via the red LEDs. The sensitivity can be changed via the plus and minus keys. In most cases, the levels 0.5 to 2 are used.
If the sun is currently shining on the Smart sun sensor during manual setting, a green LED is used for better orientation. If the currently measured value is above the set threshold, the LED is green, below the green LED is off. In this way, the threshold can be easily determined.
