Reset addZ LED Smart bulbs: How can the addZ LED Smart bulbs be reset to the delivery state?
Detect delivery state
If an addZ LED Smart bulb is supplied with voltage and displays different colors one after the other, it is in the delivery state. This is the only way to register the addZ LED Smart bulb to the Premium gateway or to another Zigbee control panel.
Necessity reset
An addZ LED Smart bulb can only be registered to a control panel if it is in the delivery state.
This basically applies to all bulbs that work on the basis of Zigbee 3.0 technology.
There are two ways to reset an addZ LED Smart bulb.
1. Reset by logout
If the addZ LED Smart bulb is still logged in to the Premium gateway, the logout function can be used. When logging off, the device is logged off from the Premium gateway and reset to the delivery status at the same time.
2. Reset by specific power on and power off
In this case, the voltage for the addZ LED Smart bulb must be switched on and off several times in succession. The switching must be done via a switch, i.e. not via the Premium gateway.
- addZ LED Smart bulb must be switched off.
- Switch the light off and on again 5 times in succession for approx. 1 second.
(on-off-on-off-on-off-on-off-on-off) - when the light is switched on again afterwards, the bulb must light up once in several colors to acknowledge the reset.
