Registration of Abus cameras on the Premium gateway.
You have the possibility to register certain cameras of the manufacturer Abus at the Premium gateway, provided that they support the ONVIF protocol T.
The following steps are necessary for the registration.
- Put the camera into operation via PC interface according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Notes:
The camera interface can usually be opened by entering the IP address of the camera in the browser.
A password must be assigned during initial startup.
The user of the Abus camera is installer - Check the firmware of the camera in the Dashboard. Possible updates can be found on the Abus homepage.
- For newer Abus cameras, the ONVIF function must be activated and a user must be added.
To do this, click on Network - Advanced Settings. Integration Protocol. Activate the "Enable Open Network Video Interface" function.
Then add a user. This user will be used when logging in to the Premium gateway. - Under Storage - Single image capture - Capture parameters, activate the "Event-driven single image capture" function. Save the setting.
- In order to use the motion detection of the camera in the Premium gateway, please activate "Activate motion detection" under Detectors - Motion detection.
- Now you can start the login mode at the Premium gateway, if the camera is in the same network as the Premium gateway. After a short time, the camera will be displayed as a new device. Click on "Login" and enter the login data. The user is installer, the password is the one used to access the camera interface.
For the newer cameras the ONVIF user data is entered.
You can use the camera's motion detection as an event in triggers and thus trigger complex routines.
You can also have images sent to you by e-mail via the Premium gateway as soon as motion is detected.
This is done by activating the notification in the trigger under THEN.
In addition, all functions of the Abus camera can of course still be used.
Note: In the HOMEPILOT APP only single images are displayed. If necessary, a live image can be accessed via apps from Abus. For more information, please visit the Abus website.
