Extractor bonnet and window contact. May only be switched on when the window is open.
A window contact is required if you have an extractor bonnet and a fireplace or other fireplace in your flat or house. The use of a fireplace and an extractor bonnet in exhaust air mode at the same time is not permitted without a window contact. The door and window contact prevents the motor of the bonnet from starting up when the window is closed. The extractor hood only works when the window is open. This prevents a negative pressure from forming and thus toxic gases or carbon monoxide from being distributed in the room.
You need a Smart door and window contact and a Smart plug for this application
Plug the extractor bonnet into the smart adapter plug and then register the door/window contact on the adapter plug.
That's all there is to it. When the window is open or tilted, the adapter plug and therefore the extractor bonnet switches on. When the window is closed, the voltage is or remains switched off.
