The registered unit does not respond to the Smart sun sensor.

Check connection

The first step should be to check whether the registered receiver responds to the Smart sun sensor. To do this, exit the menu of the sun sensor by tapping the menu button several times, if necessary, until no LED is lit.

Then tap one of the operating keys on the side. If the login is successful, you can operate all units via the two buttons. If this is not possible, the login must be repeated.

Testing the sun function

If the receiver responds properly to manual operation, you should test the sun function.

Open the sunshades completely with the operating buttons.

Press the menu button until the yellow menu LED lights up. Now press both operating buttons simultaneously. All registered sun shades must now move into the sun position.

Adopting the sun position

If the sunshade does not react to the test of the sun function, the sun position should be adopted again for the affected receivers.

To do this, move all blinds to the desired sun position. Even if the sun position is to be changed or set for only one sunblind, all sunblinds must be moved to the positions.

Now tap the menu button on the Smart sun sensor until the menu LED lights up yellow. Now press the menu key and the Minus/DOWN key simultaneously. All registered motors acknowledge the takeover by pressing briefly. When a sun position is accepted, the necessary automatic sun control is activated on the receiver at the same time.

Checking the running time

With some receivers, such as the Smart programmable timer premium, the sun automatic can only be activated if a valid total runtime has been set beforehand. If the runtime is set to the factory setting of 150 seconds, activation is not possible.

Close the shutter completely, then open the shutter completely in menu 9-2 by pressing and holding the UP button until the motor switches off.

After you have set the runtime, you must accept the sun position again.

Setting the sun mode

DuoFern receivers such as the RolloTron smart flush-mounted belt winder premium and the Smart programmable timer premium have different sun modes. Set the sun mode under menu item 9-9-3 to 3 for external sun sensor.
