Where are my settings stored? Does the Premium gateway have to be online all the time?
All your settings, such as saved actuators, switching times, routines and descriptions are stored on your Premium gateway and are retained even after a power failure.
The Premium gateway does not necessarily have to be permanently connected to the WR Connect server. You have the option of switching off WR Connect at any time. The Premium gateway can thus be operated in the local network, only access from outside would not be possible in this case. Your data will not be stored on our server.
We recommend connecting the Premium gateway to the Internet, as this enables the gateway to recognise and offer possible updates. In addition, the time is synchronised via an NTP server.
Since the data is only stored on the Premium gateway, we recommend creating a backup file at regular intervals.
